Sports
How Sports works on JUN88
The category that settles against real fixtures outside the site, which gives it its own cut-offs and void rules.
What this category is
Sports differs from the other two categories because the result happens outside the system rather than inside it. That adds a set of rules the others do not have: a cut-off before kick-off, void rules when a fixture is postponed or abandoned, and a wait for the official result before anything settles.
The sequence
How one round runs
Choose a fixture and a market
A market is one question about that fixture. Make sure it is the question you think it is.
Read the cut-off
Most close at kick-off, but some close earlier. Read the time shown rather than assuming it.
Confirm, and keep your own record
Once confirmed it is written into your history. A screenshot of your own helps a great deal if you ever have to ask about it.
Wait for the official result
Settlement follows the official result, which can lag the final whistle by a noticeable margin.
Before you start
Four things worth checking
- Read that market's definition before confirming
- Check what happens if the fixture is postponed or abandoned
- Use the cut-off shown, not the one you assume
- Do not expect settlement the instant the match ends
